Where is Kish Library?

Kishwaukee College Library is part of the Library & Tutoring Services Department. We are located in room A-1100 between the Student Center and the Gym. Our entrance is near Doors 58 and 12. We are also available online via email, chat, and zoom.

On-Campus Hours Fall Semester 2025 

In-person services (appointments for study rooms and research help):

8:00 am-4:00 pm — Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

10:00 am - 6:00 pm -- Wednesday

Physical Space Closed -- Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Remote/Online Services Fall Semester 2025:

Kish Library Services

Kish Library offers many services for our students, staff, community members, and visitors. The Library Staff can help you find sources for your research projects and cite them too. If we don't own the source you need, we can order it through a free service called Interlibrary Loan. Our staff make sure you can access the online resources we have through our Library SmartSearch catalog and our databases, plus our book displays change every month. We also offer the following services:

Nearly 20,000 print books in our circulating collection on the second floor including our General Stacks, College & Career Collection, and Children's Collection

Quiet Study Space on our second floor with comfortable booths and study carrells

Kishhh Booths which are almost soundproof booths for online meetings or very quiet study

Two Quiet Study rooms with sound radios, wrap-around booths, therapy lamps, and white boards

A computer lab with a printer

A book, photo, and document scanner that also translates text into other languages and saves text to audio files

Group study rooms on the first floor in the Tutoring department

Charging stations and cords for your electronic devices

All-Gender Bathrooms
