Circulation

Library books and Interlibrary Loan materials may be returned in the outdoor college Drop Box located under the light by the curb near the flag pole at the main entrance (door 6). The indoor book return is located to the left of the Library & Tutoring Services entrance (A1100).

Please contact Library Services at 815-825-9330 or library@kish.edu for the following assistance:

  • renewing items and extending due dates
  • questions about availability of materials
  • questions about returning items
  • inquiries about whether other libraries are open
  • concerns about lost items

Please note that items returned to the Kish Library will be quarantined for 3 days before they are marked returned on your account.

This ensures the safety for the next person using the item and complies with rules from our state library sharing system.

You will not be charged late fees for that quarantine period, and we just wanted you to know why you will still see the item on your account for an extra week.
