Asexual: a person who does not have strong sexual feelings toward any gender.
Bisexual: a person who is sexually or emotionally attracted to more than one sex or gender.
Demisexual: a person who doesn't develop sexual attraction to someone until they have a strong emotional connection
Gay: men who are sexually and emotionally attracted to other men. Sometimes used for women who are sexually and emotionally attracted to other women.
Lesbian: woman who is sexually and emotionally attracted to other women
Pansexual: a person who can be attracted to all different kinds of people, regardless of biological sex or gender identity.
Queer: this word can be used to describe one's sexuality or gender. Formerly used as a slur, the LGBTQ community has reclaimed the word. It typically is used by someone who feels they don't fit neatly into one of these other labels.
Agender: a person who doesn't identify as any particular gender.
Cisgender: a person whose gender identity aligns with the sex they were assigned at birth.
Gender Fluid: a person whose gender identity is not a single gender or is not fixed, but may shift.
Genderqueer: someone who embraces fluidity of gender and rejects static or conventional views of gender. They can identify as both male and female, neither male or female, or a combination of the two.
Non-binary: someone who doesn't identify as exclusively male or female.
Transgender: a person whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.
