A guide for accessing and using NoodleTools, a citation and note-taking software.

Accessing NoodleTools

If you are not already logged in, you will be brought to a new page (shown below) and prompted to sign into your KishID Account. After logging in, you will be brought to the NoodleTools site.

Register for NoodleTools

Once you reach the NoodleTools sign on page, you will be authenticated for Kishwaukee College’s NoodleTools subscription. The next step is to create a personal account. Click “Register”. This will bring you to a new page to create an account for yourself. If you are already registered and cannot remember your password, these fields can be used in the password recovery process.

The NoodleTools sign in page has a "Personal ID" field and a "Password" field followed by a "Remember me" box and a "Forgot Password" link. Scroll below these and the sign-in button and select the "Register" link.

Make sure that the “I am a student or library patron” option is selected. Select your expected year of graduation from the drop-down menu. Next, choose a Personal ID. This functions like a username. Click “Check Availability” to see if your Personal ID is already in use. You will want to fill out the remaining fields and select “Register” to complete the process.

Below the "Personal ID" field and "Check Availability" button is a button to enter your preferred password for NoodleTools. The next field asks you to retype your password from the previous field. In the next field, enter the last 4 digits of your Phone Number, and in the next enter your 2 letter initials. Then there is a field for your email. After completing these, click "Register".
