Academic Advising

Tutoring Services
Kish tutors will provide you with one-on-one support and strategies to help you succeed in your classes, and they are available to you as a Kishwaukee College student free of charge.
Library Services
The Kishwaukee College Library has print and electronic resources for research projects and in-person and online research help from the librarian. They also have some course materials in the Course Reserves and eReserves collections, a computer lab, and quiet study space for small groups or individuals. Print books can be checked out with your Kish Student ID, and books and articles can be borrowed via interlibrary loan. All services are free to Kish students.
Testing Services
Testing Services provides secure and professional testing for Kish students and community residents while adhering to all standards set forth by the National College Testing Associations Professional Standards and Guidelines.

Kish Scholarship Opportunities
The cost of getting an education can put so much stress on you. Here at Kish we offer a variety of exciting opportunities for you to achieve academic success by easing that financial stress, annually offering over $430,000 in scholarship money.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
If you are between the ages of 16 and 24, out of school, then WIOA can offer you an opportunity to participate in training that will assist you in obtaining employment. Funding through WIOA provides financial assistance with tuition, fees, books and supplies for participants who meet eligibility requirements. Many programs at Kish qualify for WIOA assistance. See if your program or major qualifies!
Student Employment
Earn money while you learn. At Kishwaukee College you'll find a variety of employment opportunities to help you make some money while you learn valuable soft skills needed for today's workforce.
Champions Fund
The Champions Fund at Kish provides emergency financial aid to students who need monetary assistance to continue their education. Check with your Academic Advisor in Student Services, C-2100.

TRIO SSS
This program is designed to help students first generation students, low-income students, or students who have a learning or physical disability. If you are eligible, you'll receive personalized advising support that will work with you to create a success plan, provide guidance, connect you to resources, have TRIO SSS tutoring access, visits to 4 year universities, provide mentorship, grant aid, career exploration opportunities, workshops, and much more!

This is a FREE service to eligible students! So take advantage if you qualify!
Mental Health Services
Mental Health Services include TalkSpace, area counseling services, and information on suicide and domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse, and pregnancy. Located in Student Services, C-2100.
Career Services
Career Services at Kishwaukee College works to build a bridge between the College community and the local workforce. From resume buildings assistance and interviewing tips for job seekers, to job board postings and hiring events for employers, Career Services is the one stop shop for applicant employment assistance. Career Services is currently providing all resources virtually.
