A lightboard is a piece of glass infused with light and connected to a computer. It lets you make attractive and engaging video lessons for your students.
Example from Kish math professor Niki Rempfer:
The Lightboard can be used for either synchronous or asynchronous presentations. You can present synchronously with a live audience via Zoom, or record a video for later asynchronous viewing. You can also add digital overlays to the board, such as a PowerPoint, map, Word document, or other digital file.
To record a lightboard video to your Zoom cloud:
For more help, please see Zoom's page on Starting a cloud recording.
To record a lightboard video to a USB flash drive:
Project your PowerPoint, Word doc, or other digital file onto the Lightboard! These videos show you how.
Please see the sidebar on this page titled "Lightboard Training and Scheduling."
This makes it easier to handle files between your computer and the Lightboard computer.
We'll do this part together.
Here are some tips that may help.
