Schedule a Recording Room

Before scheduling Recording Room time, please set up an Introduction session with Tim Lockman, Instructional Designer. You'll get a confirmation email when you schedule a time. 

Schedule an Introduction

Click the "Schedule an Appointment" button below and choose a Location (On Campus or Zoom). Choose "Recording Room Introduction" from the drop-down box, then choose your meeting time.

What Are the Recording Rooms For?

Recording Room with a desk, adjustable-height table, and soundproofed wallsThe two Recording Rooms are spaces for instructors to create learning content for their students, such as narrated video lectures, screen videos, handouts, infographics, and how-to guides. 

What Tools Are Available? 

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Camtasia: Video editor with lots of editing features
  • Snagit: Screen capture and annotation tool for creating attractive handouts, videos, infographics, etc.
  • Echo360: Video engagement platform that integrates with D2L Brightspace 
  • High-quality USB microphone
  • Studio headphones and monitor speakers
  • Powered adjustable standing worktable
