This Open House event at the Innovation Center for Teaching and Learning is an excellent opportunity to explore our state-of-the-art facilities and discover all of the new instructional technology tools we have available for faculty. Refresh your knowledge of Padlet, Kahoot, ECHO360, D2L templates, DTEN tools and more! During this event, we will offer live demonstrations in our three recording studio spaces and faculty will have the opportunity to learn how to create high-quality audio and video content. We will also showcase some of the newest technology tools that are now available to faculty and can be integrated into their course activities to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Innovation Center staff will be available to provide personalized assistance and answer questions.

Join us for an engaging discussion on Chapter 7 of Saundra Yancy McGuire's book, Teach Students How to Learn. This chapter delves into the relationships between motivation, emotions, and learning. We will explore several strategies to enhance motivation and discuss practical ways to apply these insights to improve our learning experiences. Soup will be served! Discussion led by ICTL staff.
