**Understanding Diversity in Gender and Sexuality: An Ally Training 
Workshop (Onsite Only) 

Tues. March 26, 9:00 a.m.–Noon in A2216 in the Innovation Center 

While a lot of people say they would like to be an ally to the GSD community, many don’t know how to go about it. Allyship is not simply a badge one can earn; it’s an ongoing process. In this hands-on training, learn what allyship is, why it matters, and how to better support our GSD students, employees, and community. Facilitated by Ami Irmen and Bonnie Miller from the Committee on Gender and Sexuality Diversity. Reservation is required. Register here

Harkness Discussions: Fostering Critical Thinking and Active Learning

in the Classroom (Asynchronous Only)

The Harkness model is an innovative and student-centered approach to discussions that emphasizes collaborative learning and active participation. Benefits of this discussion model include increased engagement, enhanced communication skills, critical thinking development, community building, and preparation for real-world challenges. This discussion event will be recorded and made available for asynchronous viewing after April 1. Facilitated by Barbara Leach, Vice President of Instruction.

ILCCO Growing Online Learning

The recordings and materials from this year’s ILCCO Growing Online Learning conference are now available at the conference site at http://ilcco.net/ILCCO/?p=edu&a=events&id=gol. If you didn’t get a chance to attend any of the live sessions, they are now available for viewing. The theme this year focused on artificial intelligence in higher education.
